The doctor takes her time to explain things and doesn’t try to upsell like the other money-grabbing Vets. Vets can be costly but at this location, I feel like I’m getting true value from the staff & the doctor. In addition, I never feel like they are attempting to take advantage. They are transparent and trustworthy. Thank you for your care and all you do, Brea Veterinary Hospital!

Dr. Allison is amazing! We brought in our dog for annual vaccines, and she is very thorough in making sure she asks about ALL aspects of his health. The entire staff is so friendly, accommodating, and make us feel like our pet is their only client!

Outstanding staff and doctor. I took my dog in for a second opinion. Dr Allison was so caring and explained everything carefully. My dog was retested and thankfully all is good. The staff was also very caring and nice. I plan on changing veterinarian and having Brea Veterinary hospital take care of my three dogs going forward. Highly recommend; you will not be disappointed. I brought in my 18 year old Yorkie for a check up and Dr. Allison went the extra mile to examine her and ran a few tests. She suggested changing her diet and now my Yorkie is doing great. She eats better than ever. I could not ask for a better Veterinary hospital.

I brought my cat here as he got very sick overnight, and our usual vet couldn't take him. I was initially told they could only see him for urgent care later in the day, which would be a higher fee & long wait (I was Ok with that). A few hours later, the nurses called to let me know of an opening from a last min. appointment cancellation, so I was able to go in ASAP and at the normal exam fee! They genuinely care for the well-being of your pet, and I'm so grateful they contacted me to see my cat sooner. We met with Dr. Forbes. She is very attentive, calm, and takes your concerns seriously. Since our first visit, she has checked in daily w a phone call. No other vet I've been to has done this.. She addresses all my questions / concerns on each call, and has advised for follow up visits or changes to his treatment plan. She was even there on a Sunday when we had to bring him back for urgent care hours. (I was ready to wait a while, but surprisingly there was almost no wait!!) The nurses are also very kind and informative.

Took my kitten here after she woke up with what seemed to be an eye infection. I didn’t want it getting worse, so I called Brea. They squeezed me in that same day, and I was in and out in roughly an hour. Briefly read some negative reviews about upselling, and yes, I was quoted for some recommendations made by the vet. Although, the best part about having a backbone is being able to say no. I left with ointment for my kitty’s eye and a complimentary nail trim. My consultation was also complimentary as I was a first time client, which was a pleasant surprise. The staff were helpful and friendly.

I'm glad we found a new Doctor for our babies. Service is very good the staff very friendly and helpful Dr.M. she has a great bedside manner.

They saved my baby!! My senior dog was not doing well. I called my regular vet on a Monday and they told me that they could only see him on Friday. I told them that he needs to be seen sooner as he is sick. They told me that I can call an other vet. That is what I did. A call Brea Vet and they said to bring him in as a clinic appointment it is at a higher cost. I am so glad that I did. The wait was not too long. The did some blood test and found that he is a diabetic and started on medication. He is much better. The doctors follow up with him. Everyone is very friendly and helpful. Explain everything that is going on with my dog. I can't wait for Covid to be over so I can actually meet the doctors.

I am truly thankful for Brea Vet. These people really care about your pets like they are theirs and they will take you in short notice in case of emergencies. The doctors are kind and knowledgeable. My personal favorite is Dr. Forbes. She is patient and kind. All of the staff here are kind, patient, and professional and you can make appointments so you can avoid the wait that you would have at other pet clinics. Billie Jean and Charlotte love Dr. Forbes!

I've had pretty good vets in the past. But I have never, until now, had a vet that is really good AND is so responsive and follows up on my pet. She actually calls when she says she will. She checks up on my pet to make sure my pet is getting better. Her front office is amazing. They call back if you leave a message. They are the best front office I have ever dealt with. They will do their best to fit you in if your pet suddenly became ill. If you have a mixup with Chewy on an Rx, they will contact Chewy for you and straighten it out. Dr. Forbes is knowledgeable and kind. She does not immediately do every diagnostic test known to dog. She will work with you and try to find a solution that is in the best interest for your pet. I am so happy that I found this veterinarian practice.

The front staff is friendly. I've been taking my 12-year, stubborn, female chihuahua here for the last several years. The veterinary doctors are exceptional, with their expertise a d professional advice. Yes, the service is great and treatment. Of course it is pricey, but for the care and treatment, well worth the price. If you might think it is too much, I suggest purchasing some pet insurance to calm your possible financial anxieties and calm the human nerves. Overall, I highly recommend this hospital for their care and dedication.
